Jennifer Porta, DO
Dr. Porta grew up in New Jersey, as 1 of 4 children. In 2012, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cellular Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University. She went on to attend medical school in East Tennessee where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. Dr. Porta also earned a special recognition award from DeBusk in Internal Medicine in 2017.
Dr. Porta completed her residency in Internal Medicine, as well as her fellowship in Hematology / Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee in 2023.
With both parents in the healthcare field, Dr. Porta had a natural interest in healthcare, herself. During Fellowship, she developed a strong interest in Breast Cancer, and a passion for women’s healthcare.
Between studies, Dr. Porta enjoyed participating in philanthropic activities, including equine therapy for children with disabilities. Today, Jennifer and her husband Corey are excited to be raising their son here in Northwest Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys time with her family and playing tennis.
