Dr. Kasia Kania is a board-eligible fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon. She is extensively trained and experienced in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery for the face, breasts, and body. She has established the microsurgical breast reconstruction program at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas with the help of Dr. Robert Taylor.
Dr. Kania offers a full range of custom-tailored aesthetic plastic surgery procedures, as well as, reconstructive procedures for the breasts, head and neck, body, and extremities. She offers both implant-based and natural tissue breast reconstruction.
Dr. Kania received her master in Public Health degree from Jefferson University and went on to pursue her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She was then accepted into the integrated 6-year Plastic Surgery residency program at Baylor College of Medicine. After finishing residency, she completed the Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and served as a Clinical Specialist.
