Dr. Bennett O’Brien Battle is fellowship-trained in breast imaging. He joined the breast imaging specialists at The Breast Center in 2020.
Dr. Battle received several awards during his studies: Tulane Founders Scholarship, United Parcel Service Casey National Merit Scholarship, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Carolyn L. Kuckein Student Research Fellowship. He also received the UAMS Radiology Excellence in Medical Student Teaching Award.
Dr. Battle has contributed to research publications, including papers in the Journal of The American College of Radiology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also writes in his free time. Dr. Battle has a published short story and has written four unpublished novels. He is also an Eagle Scout — the highest attainable rank in the Boy Scouts of America program.
Dr. Battle grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Little Rock Catholic High. He and his wife, Laura, have a beautiful 6 month old daughter named Zadie and enjoy traveling and spending time at the lake with their rescue dog, Maggie.
